Lilac City Church - Launching Fall, 2025
A heart for the city and campus
We are deeply committed to the people and places around us—both city and campus—because we believe every person deserves to hear and experience the life-giving message of Jesus. Just as Lilac City Church exists to help people trust and follow Jesus in North Spokane by engaging a largely unchurched population with the good news, we too are rooted in Jesus, cultivated in authentic community, and sent with a heart to reach our city and campus with the gospel. Our passion is to be present where students live, study, work, and play—loving our neighbors, building meaningful relationships, and inviting every student into a community that points them to hope, purpose, and Christ’s transforming love.
whitworth university
Whitworth University is a hidden gem in North Spokane—an influential community shaping the hearts, minds, and futures of thousands of young adults during some of the most formative years of their lives. Nestled within our city, Whitworth represents both a tremendous opportunity and a sacred responsibility. Reaching college students is essential to the mission of Lilac City Church because the gospel takes root deeply during these years, forming lifelong disciples who will carry faith into families, workplaces, churches, and cities for generations to come. By intentionally loving, serving, and walking alongside Whitworth students, we have the opportunity to invest in future leaders while strengthening the spiritual fabric of North Spokane and beyond.
how to partner
-

prayer
Join us in praying for our family, our launch team, those who will be joining our church, the provision of resources, receptivity to the Gospel in North Spokane and on the campus of Whitworth, and our ability to make an impact where God has called us.
-

sending
God has uniquely placed Lilac City Church in North Spokane at a pivotal moment, with Whitworth University right in our backyard. Today’s students and community members are tomorrow’s leaders, families, and culture-shapers. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us through sacrificial generosity over the next four years so that students at Whitworth and neighbors throughout North Spokane can encounter Jesus and be formed into lifelong disciples?
