Coming - Fall, 2025
‘What if while a student was in college for four years, we were able to disciple them in the faith, and equip them so that when they graduate and either go back to their hometown or off to a new area, they would show up as an on mission leader in their church and community?’

Dylan & Cassie’s journey into church planting began in college, where he first encountered the vision of planting churches to fulfill God’s mission. In graduate school, a professor deeply involved in church planting opened his eyes to the impact that church planting can have in making disciples. Deeper study in the book of Acts strengthened his conviction, showing him that new churches are essential to reaching people for Christ. Over the years his passion for church planting grew stronger.
In late 2023, he and his wife felt a calling to Morehead and immediately recognized the need to bring the gospel to the college students of Morehead State University. They envisioned a church that could disciple students during their college years, equipping them to return to their hometowns as on-mission leaders, carrying the gospel wherever they go.
Through prayer, counsel, and by connecting with Be1Make1, a church planting organization focused on ministry near college campuses, they found clarity and support. By October, they had shared this vision with their current church, and took the first steps toward planting a church that will reach the MSU campus and the surrounding region. Their goal is to see a church at the heart of Morehead, impacting the campus and community, equipping each new generation of students to become disciple-makers wherever life takes them.
Would you join in supporting this vision of a campus-focused church that can impact an entire region and beyond?

Church planting is more than starting a service; it’s igniting a movement. Each new church brings the gospel to unreached communities, raises up disciples, and creates spaces where lives are transformed for generations to come.
